im looking at purchasing an intake manifold for my 318 with 360 heads. i have machined the decks and heads and am getting about 180psi when doing a compression test. also am running a mild cam. going to be running a 650 road demon carb.wondering what intake manifold would suit me? is there a differnce in intake port size between 318 heads and 360 heads as looking at the edelbrock catalogue it says 318 - 360 is the same???

318 does have a smaller port, the manifolds bolt on and work though......just a mismatch in port sizes.

i had a 318 with small port heads/victor jr and 650dp. complete mis match of parts but it still went well, ran mid 14's in a vg

most alloy intake are the same size as the 360s.

to tell at swap meets is. put your top 3 finger in the port if it a little tight to nice fit its a 360 port size. 318 one i can only fit 2 1/2 fingers in.
