Reading in the Aussie muscle car mag about the making of MAD MAX, turns out after filming & sound mixing the ford GT didn't have a good enough exhaust note so the sound mixer used his own Hemi to get the sound right. Great article about the making of the movie & putting to bed a lot of the misinformation around the making of this great movie

Yea sure is in the latest one.
Real good article and I also had a bit of a laugh when I read about the Hemi soundtrack!

Can't seem to find that mag on American news stand shelves. Is there an on-line version of Australian Muscle Car mag?

On the aussie car movie thing, has everyone noticed on "running on empty" that when Fox crashes into the barrier if you slow the movie down it turns into a valiant coup before it hits the rail and blows up! low budget!cool movie!cool cars!
